Programs
NKU offers many avenues for students who wish to pursue studies in the field of Psychology.
The department offers two major options. Students may choose to pursue either a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology. Both degrees have the same core requirements but also allow you to tailor your course work to your interests and career goals.
The Interdisciplinary Minor Program in Neuroscience allows students to further explore relationships between the brain and mental and behavioral processes at different levels of analysis. It is intended for students who anticipate using this knowledge in careers in psychology, forensics, computer science, education, or in graduate or professional school.
We also offer a minor in psychology.
Our graduate program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology is a behavioral science that focuses on human behavior in the workplace.
