Mei Mei Burr

Mei Mei Burr, Lecturer II and Assistant Chair, earned her Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1994. Dr. Burr worked as a school psychologist for five years before deciding to teach at the college level.
Dr. Burr oversees the advising in the department and meets with transfer students and majors over 30 hours. She is also the department's co-op coordinator. In 2005, she won the university's Outstanding Academic Advisor Award. In addition to advising, she teaches Introduction to Psychology, Behavior Modification and Behavior Disorders of Childhood.
